However, it has some minor design flaws that prevent it from being as great as it could be.
The biggest problem with this Frigidaire is the fact that it's counter-depth. That means it's losing around 7 cubic feet of usable space compared to the Gallery refrigerator in normal depth measurements. This is a huge sacrifice especially when you consider the appliance costs close to $3500.
However, the fridge still does a great job of maintaining stable temperatures in both its cooling and freezer compartments. It also did very well in our spill test by keeping liquids and water kept in check, even on its top shelves.
If you're looking for an French door fridge with an expansive flex drawer that can be customized the Frigidaire is a great option. It has a smudge-proof stainless steel finish, and its left door is smaller than the right, making it easier to reach the controls. The flex drawer can be set to different temperatures, so you can use it as an insulated cooler, or even a place for chilled wine or drinks.
The refrigerator is user-friendly however, it's not as intuitive as the other refrigerators we've test. It features a digital control panel with a simple layout, and it comes with many useful features, including the ability to change the door bins from left to right, and a button that lets you turn on the freezer in turbo mode for short bursts of coldness.
